About the Bali fieldtrip
Itinerary
The Fieldtrip started from 4th of march untul 8th of march. Before the fieldtrip, there are some assignments that are need to be done at school for the fieldtrip assignments for every subjects.
During the first day, grade seven and three teachers with a Balinese tourguide gathered in the Soekarna airport at 5 AM. We arrived in Denpasar at about 9 AM. Our first trip was going to the biomass conservation place in Kintamani. It is located in the mountains. The Biomass conservation place is managed by Pak Wayan. He makes biogas with pigs and plants. Pak Wayan showed us the proccess of making biogas. After observing biomass, we went to our camping place and the tour guide, Pak Wayan Beto teached us about traditional Balinese games. We played four different games. After we had the games, we went to swim in the hot spring water. Then we had bonfire and some time to finish our journal.
2nd day:
We woke up in the morning and started our journey to the village to grow some tomato plants. The owner of the field told us the proper way to plant tomatos. After planting some tomatoes, we to Lake Batur which was near our camping spot to fish. Then we went to panglipuran village to do observation on the Balinese people by interviewing them. After some hours in the village, we went to the hotel to take some rest and do some activities such as swimming in the hotel. Then we had dinner in Hanamasa restaurant and after we had dinner, we went back to the hotel to complete the journal.
3rd day.
In the third day we started the trip by going to Ubud village to visit Antonio Blanco museum. Blanco is a famous Dutch artist who came to Bali during the renaissance. In the museum, there are paintings that Blanco made and about his life in Bali. Then we went to a glass recycling factory. In the factory, there are a lot of broken glass and glasses that are made into decorations. The workers recycled the glass by blowing them to make it as a decoration. After observing in the blow glass factory we went to Suly resort, there we are teached some Balinese culture arts. I made Balinese Batik. After making traditional arts, we went back to the hotel and completed our journal.
4th day.
Heading to the beach, the SMP 9 grade seven can't join us to do our CAS because they have tests. For our CAS activity, we went to Jimbaran beach to clean the beach. We started from the edge to the edge of the beach. It was raining most of the time when we were cleaning the beach. Then we went to a turtle conservation place. There we saw a lot of sea turtles from big to small. The manager of the conservation center also told us some information about how the turtle conservation was build. After observing the sea turtle conservation, we went to plant mangroves. We all get down dirty in the mud to plant mangroves. After planting mangroves, we went to Jimbaran beach where we release baby turtles. We also played in the beach before we had lunch there. We went back to the hotel and completed the journals.
5th day
During the last day we first went to the coral conservation and learned about the corals in Bali. Then we went to krisna to buy souvernirs before we go back home to Jakarta.

Assignments
Bahasa Indonesia: For Bahasa Indonesia subject we were assigned to do observation of the Balinese culture and how they can sustain it and make is as a report.
Humanities: For humanities we are assigned to make the influence of the Dutch to the renaissance in Bali.
English: We have to make an article about one topic in the fieldtrip
Music: Making article about the traditional insturment and playing it and learn one traditional Balinese song from the gamelan
Math: Knowing the satisfication of happiness of the Balinese people.
Science: Making an article about one observation of the fieldtrip such as, biomass, blow glass or coral conservation
Biblical Studies: Article about the religion of the Balinese people.
Civics: Article about the identity of the Balinese culture.
PE: learning traditional Balinese sports games.
Humanities: For humanities we are assigned to make the influence of the Dutch to the renaissance in Bali.
English: We have to make an article about one topic in the fieldtrip
Music: Making article about the traditional insturment and playing it and learn one traditional Balinese song from the gamelan
Math: Knowing the satisfication of happiness of the Balinese people.
