biblical studies
During Biblical studies we learned about the book of Proverbs. It is mostly telling us the story of Solomon. He is the wisest man that has ever lived. During class, we studied deeper about what wisdom is, and how it influence us. We also discussed about our desire. Our assignment was to make a reflection about our desire. We also made a reflection about one of a passage from the book of proverbs, using the blue letter bible (blueletterbible.org). This is my best work because I really tried to understand what the passage is trying to teach us. I do not have the teacher assessment because the teacher hasn't gave us the result. I still can improve by studying the passage so I could analyze it deeply, and readers would understand better. My reflection is about wise decision, and how we need to use wisdom in good use, like how Solomon did in some of His stories. In my opinion, we are told to make a reflection about this because we have to understand in how we should use wisdom. Even if Solomon was a very wise man, he still makes mistakes. In conclusion, this reflection tought me that wisdom is not enough, because we also need God's grace with us so we could stay in the right path.
Global context
This sample work relates to Orientation in space and time because it is also talking about history. From this assignment we need to see Wisdom in our own perspective, and that is how I think it relates to orientation in space and time. As we study about the history from the Bible, we would know how Wisdom can influence us in different ways, whether it is bad or good.
